EXPERIENCE

The salt mines at Maras have been used since Inca times

The Inca trail is one of the most amazing treks in the world! We offer a 4 or 5 day trek. The 5 day trail is ideal for families or those who are concerned about their physical fitness for completing the trail in 4 days as it proceeds at a much more relaxed pace than the classic 4 day Inca trail. It is desirable for those people that don’t want to start their mornings at 4 am and that want to experience the trails at the time of day when there are far fewer people. It also allows you much better enjoyment of Machu Picchu because you arrive at the Sun gate in the afternoon in time for beautiful evening views of the sunset. Machu Picchu is much less crowded at this time as well. Then you spend the night in a hotel, get a good nights sleep, recover from the hike with a trip to the hot springs or a massage, and then return to Machu Picchu again the next morning feeing refreshed for sunrise and a personalized walking tour.
